What is NLP?
Neuro Linguistic Programming was created in the 1970s by Dr Richard Bandler and John Grindler.
It is a set of tools and techniques to eliminate unhelpful patterns of thought and to create new positive behaviours and communication in order to achieve greater success and improve your life.
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis is the process of learning how to go into a state of trance, which feels like deep relaxation. We have all experienced trance in our lives. Trance states occur daily e.g. when we are reading a book and don’t hear what our name being called or when we are relaxing in front of the TV.
A state of trance enables people to tap into the deep unconscious resources we all possess. All learning, behaviour and change takes place at the unconscious level. It is particularly useful for weight loss, smoking cessation, relaxation and reducing stress i.e. changing unhelpful behaviours and thoughts which are embedded at the unconscious level.
